Sporle Primary Academy

Tuesday, 2nd March

From the books that were set for yesterday's reading, please pick a character and explain their personality. Use evidence from the text to support your answer.

For our book week, we will be continuing to follow on from Cressida Cowell's task from yesterday.

First of all, refresh your memory of what an expanded noun phrase is by watching the following video from the BBC website and take the short quiz at the bottom of the website. Please send your score to Miss George:

Using expanded noun phrases in your writing can help to create a powerful image in the reader's mind. Now, read through the powerpoint labelled 'task 2' to see the next task for your writing, using 'How To Train Your Dragon' as inspiration.
